I am very lucky to have two amazing parks so close to my home. It is always nice just escape to these places and let the rest of the world sod off for an hour or two. If you ever get the chance an dare in Seattle both Seward Park and the Kubota gardens are perfect escapes, and that's not counting the many places you can get lost in either place. I especially like the place I call the cathedral in kubota gardens its too dark to take a pic with my phone but it is very beautiful and i have yet to ever find anyone else there.
This is ,a wee blog, about a lone pirate set adrift looking for whatever there is te find. A collection of stories, art and nonesense from his adventures.

a weekend of music
Well this weekend was full to b sure starting off with a March 4th concert in Fremont, with my friend Kuph. I found out just how important it is to keep a couple extra bottles of whisky in the car just in case the event doesn't have a bar! Amy and Christie I hope your feeling well. The band played till around 2 am and they were amazing!! Seriously thought the floor would cave in at times!
Saturday was the HONK festival, it is basically a street festival with a lot of marching bands similar to March 4th. but fun crazy stuff street performers dancers hoops everything. this event goes across town for three days to different neighborhoods very very fun!
Then Abney Park show at Studio Seven! Actually this was a concert and circus show!! Acrobats (Jenny Penny!!) and fire dancers a great ring leader, some fun steampunk vendors and just allot of fun all around. I got to hang out with some friends Copper and Heather and drink vast amounts of cider and whisky sours YUMMERS! This was a very fun weekend now its off to get some work done!!

Freedom wtf is it.
Freedom, i haven't found you yet.
I thought I had you months ago,
however I'm still stuck in my own
self made shackles.
Free to do what you want is in itself
a boundary that is hard to define.
What is it you really want
will you loose your freedom once you find it.
Vision is only perfect
when you look backwards to the past.
You can see where freedom eluded you
as you tried to hold it firmly in your grasp.
Freedom doesn't mean solitude,
although right now that's all I have.
Perhaps one day I'll learn
That freedom isn't found
but given by my own hand.
True freedom comes from from within
to be happy with ourselves
wherever it is we are,
and whatever it is we are doing.
It's not what we do or who we are with
but the fact we can find joy in life
when we have neither.
I hope one day I'll find you freedom
but right now I'm stuck
in the doldrums of a tired mind that thinks
your still on the horizon.
Back to Neverland
Well here is the beginign design stages of my Neverland area. Its all very rough, but it has been alot of fun to try and create a space with as much of the feel of neverland as possible. I am working on some event ideas that will help make this area a whole new experience for festival guests like late night revels, a Never bird hunt and a Lost boys dream tree. The stage will be the Jollyroger at dock, with a real poop deck and I am hoping a candy cannon as well. There is a lot to do between now and the end of July. so I better get crackin, luckily I have a lot of great friends helping with this project. phottos from our building days will hopefully b eup very very soon.
