The tea table and a toadstool
time to add a little design for the moss to grow into.
This is the lovely bit of gunk you use to grow your moss, a little stinky.
Well it finally stopped raining and i am going to give the tea table its first coat of moss. This was a lot of fun to work on. th etable is so damn big and freekin heavy!! I hope this moss will take root and make this look like the coolest damn tea table EVER!! The tree stump toadstool are finally getting rolling as well. along with some moss signage as well but showing pics of funky wet wood just doesn't sound interesting. Pics of th eprogress of the moss table and signs in about a week.....I HOPE!!

Words, Music and Masks
the ceiling is starting to take on a life of its own at this point.
I'm finding it fun to figure out how to cram in these words and authors. its a fun game of tetris!
yes i have fixed my mispellign of neil Gaimans name. im sure you will find a lot more in there.
Wow, it has been far too long since I posted here. Todays pics are from the tree house again, mostly the ceiling. This idea came from a good friend and i loved it so much I went a little bonkers with it. Here is the main gist of it all, your life is a tree, it branches out all over the place and goes many different directions. On the branches you put quotes from books, lyrics, names of authors that have stuck with you, meant something to you, after a while you get...well at least i got what you see above. Despite what people may see at crazy events and what not, im more at home with my books and music than anywhere else. They never change but somehow always manage to have a new meaning if you look hard enough for them.
This tree will grow and become even more cluttered I hope to have it cover the tree house ceiling eventually. it is a fun creative way to reach back into your own history and pull up the things that got you thru and continue to push you forward. The masks are pretty self explanatory, people use them for a variety of reasons some are happy some aren't. They can be used for celebration and enjoyment or used to hide your inner self. Good or bad masks are with us we use them daily, i often get lost in my own and have forgotten who i really am at times, which is why they are best left on the wall I suppose. oh and yes I know i misspelled Gaiman! it has been fixed! =)Friday, March 25, 2011
